Moonraker, No Longer A Fish Out OF Water, 2016

In mid May Moonraker was pulled out of the water for a bottom paint job and to replace a saildrive. After 17 days which included a 5 day wait for a saildrive from Belgium, Moonraker was relaunched. We had a great 2 hour sail back to Vero Beach and started a 5 hour cleaning process to get all the boat yard dirt off and tools put away. Moonraker was sparkling clean just in time to receive 5 travel journalist visiting Vero Beach from all over the northeast. It is a wonderful feeling to be back in the water, sailing the Indian River Lagoon, watching dolphins play and beautiful sunsets!
