Five Osprey Nests On Navigational Markers, March 2016

Osprey mate for life and come back to rebuild the same nest every year. Navigational markers make a fairly safe spot for these birds to nest and lay eggs. This year there are 3 new nest on navigational markers along with the 2 that have been here for years. The 4 hour charter takes us by all 5 nest and the mothers are currently sitting on eggs that are due to hatch any day now. Many memories were made today as guests got a close up view of all 5 nest.
