Three ladies walked down the dock and stopped in front of Moonraker to tell their unsuspecting friend “Surprise Happy Birthday!!” These ladies headed out of the Vero Beach City Marina with champagne and strawberries in hand to start a Sunset Sail Birthday celebration. They finished at sun set with off the chart dessert cupcakes, while watching dolphins swim by. Many photos were taken to capture the memories of this surprise Birthday Sunset Sail aboard Moonraker.
In mid May Moonraker was pulled out of the water for a bottom paint job and to replace a saildrive. After 17 days which included a 5 day wait for a saildrive from Belgium, Moonraker was relaunched. We had a great 2 hour sail back to Vero Beach and started a 5 hour cleaning process to get all the boat yard dirt off and tools put away.
